This place is for people who want a place to sleep and chill. They clean the WC many times the day. The hosts are super friendly and perfect personalities. It's safe and in a quiet area. ||||I've been there are at August 2016 . The shower was 100 yen for hot water ( with a stopper in the timer ) . It was 100% clean . As for the sinks next to the fridges they were messy cause of the people throwing food in there . But the hosts were cleaning them again .You could also use the kitchen and some washing machines (not for free the washing machine). ||The people leaving there are multicultural. I've seen 2 or 3 people that were staying there and working ( trying their first steps in Tokyo ) . ||||5 mins away there is a huge supermarket , 10 mins away is the nearest station ( hibarigaoka ) . Which is 20 mins away from Ikebukuro . Costing 200 yen ( be careful there were some trains costing 400 yen . Have an app or use Google maps to be sure ) .||5 mins away there was a Seven Eleven ( which had an ATM machine ) and many goods . And some mins further there was an 100 yen shop ( these are perfect in Tokyo ) .||||That's all . Remember to be kind to everyone. They deserve it. They do their jobs in 120%

I was there about 5 months ago. Been there a couple of times. It was ok. Next to my room there was a couple with a Baby, which means you can actually bring your kid too. ||The place is old, but the people there try to keep it clean. There are a couple of fridges on both floors. The kitchen is quite dirty though, messy and a bit sticky. I didn't really mind. The price is very affordable so it's totally fine. ||With 100 or 200 yen ( don't remember well ) you take a 8 minutes shower. Enough to do everything. ||For the washing machine you'll have to use about 300 yen. There is a dryer, if i remember correctly. ||The heating in the room works with coins too. 100 yen for 30 minutes or 60. Again, i don't remember well. ||There is a beautiful cat running around the place from time to time. Super cute. ||The guys, the manager and the cleaner are fine down-to-earth people. ||I spent a fine time there. No stress.

I stayed here in December 2016 and was impressed by the good service and kind staff. The staff gave me a proper introduction and useful tips for commuting on the different train networks around Tokyo. I had a wonderful stay at a very affordable price. They have fast internet for both cable and wifi connectivity. There are showers and a washroom. The rooms are perfect for anyone who is travelling and have aircon. The bathrooms are clean. I will try to stay there again in the future.

I've been there 4 times. It's a bit far from the city centre but it is not bad. ||To reach Ikebukuro Station, one of the main stations in Tokyo, takes about 25 minutes and it costs about 200 yen. ||The place itself is a bit old, but it's one of the chepest i've ever been in. ||Clean? Yes. Not bad at all. There is a guy cleaning up and down every day... all morning. The kitchen is a bit bad, but you never use it anyway. ||There are people living there. So, they kind of know each other. ||2 floors, very old style. ||The manager is kind. ||The only bad thing i have found was the netrance.... with 1000 pair of shoes... kind of smelly. But that's the Japanese culture. All guesthouses are like this. ||There is no wifi connection. all with cables.

Inexpensive, comfortable, convenient, down to earth and helpful and friendly staff. The building has a good atmosphere too. I recommend staying here when you arrive in Japan, they speak excellent english and you can experience Japanese life.
