We stayed here for 8 nights and it was perfectly fine for the price. Our room was clean. Housekeeping is available everyday. You get 2 free water bottles a day. There are free toiletries. No need to bring shampoo, conditioner, or body wash. The only negative thing I would say is that the air conditioner didn’t work so we left our window slightly open overnight. There was no screen either, but we didn’t have any problems with bugs. I think the hotel only turns on the a/c in the summer. The noise wasn’t a problem for us since we are deep sleepers, but just know you will hear ambulances. The room was small but for two people it was manageable. Bathroom was even smaller. I would stay somewhere else if you are claustrophobic. There is a subway station right around the corner that we used a lot. The front desk has a scale you can use to weigh luggage and they even hold your luggage free of charge before or after checkout. Overall, we would stay here again in the winter. I don’t know about the summer if there isn’t a/c.

Great location and value for money. Staff was very accommodating with our request upon check in. I am very pleased how their customers feel valued and important .They were kind enough to accommodate my request of sending back my jewelries in my home country when I was already in the airport and realized that I left it in the bathroom. I have no doubt that i will be staying in this hotel when visiting Tokyo because staff were so nice and pleasant and our stay was wonderful. Thank you so much!

Great experience in unique part of shinjuku, it's said to be a rough area but we found it very nice, clean streets and no crime.
The hotel was clean with great staff that spoke English very well, no problem with communication and they were very helpful with any room requests we had such as rubbish collections or new bedding changes.
Vending machines on most floors and outside, number of local cafes with smoking areas too and local 24hr McDonald's which is great for late night snacks.

I feel that the room was not very clean, still some sticker of clothes of the previous guests. But the price and location are perfect. Staff was helpful but kind of rude.

Great place to stay if you’re looking to be right in the middle of Shinjuku. It was easy to access everything. The rooms are small but then again that’s how the Japanese do it. Overall great stay.

Location is probably the only strong suit.
BEWARE, the rooms are advertised as having air conditioning accdg to agoda, BUT IT DOESNT. It only has heater function when we stayed there last nov 25-27. We did tell the staff and they did confirm there is no air conditioning and if it's warm we should "just open the windows". Which is okay fine understandable bec it is fall season and the air outside is less than 15 degrees. However, it was way too noisy when the windows were open and we could hear every car passing by the streets.
We had to choose between temperature or noise basically, and we are kind of warm bodies when we sleep so we really prefer a colder temperature while sleeping otherwuse we will sweat and the zleep is incredibly uncomfortable.
So yeah, if youre the same, dont choose this hotel ever. Better book the other hotels nearby probably.
Also, the room was small. If you do have a lot of luggage, youre gonna have a problem here. We could only open one luggage at a time and opening one already makes the room too small to move.
The bathroom was also underwhelming. Our toilet seat was misaligned from the toilet itself, lol. There was a small bath tub but the sink was too small that the toiletries are actually placed on top of the toilet.
If youre claustrophobic, that bathroom is def not for you.
There was available coin laundry, vendo machines. There was wifi (a bit slow but workable). TV was small, we just watched on our laptops instead lol.
The check in was smooth enough and the staff, in the limited time we encountered them, were actually okay.

Chose to stay at this hotel due to the strategic location of the metro station, which offers routes travelling east-west and north-south.
Yes, the room and toilet is very small but that is not a problem as we are only using the room for sleeping and most of the day will be outdoor. There is no luggage rack to put your luggage. Basically you will need to leave it standing at the aisle once you enter your room. Basic room amenities are provided but the hotel does not provide instant coffee, only Japanese green tea. So, if you're a coffee lover, make sure to pack some instant coffee powder or you may grab some at the convenient store or coffee shop all below of the hotel building.
Hotel reception is located on the second floor, but there is a lift for guest with luggage from the street level.
Higashi Shinjuku Station exit A1 is just next to the hotel entrance, but if you are carrying luggage, do use exit A2 across the street as there is a lift from the station gate level to street level.
Plenty of food options available, be it for breakfast, lunch or dinner. There is a McDonald's right across the hotel, and next to it is a shop selling Japanese style lunchbox takeaway for a very good price. Other than that, there are plenty of choices for some convenient store food all within walking distance.
Hotel reception staff were polite and welcoming. We were allowed to store our luggage as we arrived at the hotel around lunch time and check-in starts at 3pm. Self service coin operated laundry is available for JPY400 per wash (detergent not required) and JPY100/30mins for dryer. Make sure you have enough of JPY100 coins to start the machine.
Cleanliness could be improved as I will appreciate the housekeeping staff could vacuum clean the room floor on a daily basis. Other than that, everything was fine.
I would definitely choose to stay at this hotel again for the next trip to Tokyo in future due to the location and convenience of the hotel.
