Great location and was perfect since we had 3 people in my group. Bathrooms and everything was clean. We stayed in the smoking room but it didn’t smell bad at all. I will say it seems like the air conditioning doesn’t work sometimes but that seems about it as we just cracked opened the window.

駅から少しあるのでリーズナブルな宿泊費でした。別館のシングルで喫煙ルームでしたが、消臭をしてくれてて、臭いはそんなに気になりませんでした。ただ、エアコンをつけると臭いが…。エアコンも調子が良くないのか音もうるさく、快適とは言えません。部屋自体は清潔でした。
朝食を付けましたが、内容的にガッカリ。朝食無料のホテルと同等ぐらいか下に感じました。フロントの対応はごく普通でした。

Absolutely perfect location, 30 seconds from Shinjuku-Sanchome station, 1 minute from Higashi-Shinjuku Station and 5 minutes from Shinjuku Station.
1 Minute walk from Golden Gai, right opposite a konbini.

Exceptionally clean room, large space (I have seen a lot of reviews complaining about small rooms, no idea what they are talking about!)
Fantastic washroom with complimentary shower gel, shampoo ect.
Best shower I have ever had in my life, water was quick to warm and the pressure was amazing!

Air conditioning in the rooms, a small fridge and kettle are also provided!

Front desk staff are very polite and helpful, and if your room is cleaned, it is returned to an exceptional standard.

Could not think of a single negative thing to say about this hotel, and I hope to return here in future.

If you want to stay in Shinjuku, do yourself a favour and book this hotel!

It’s a bit of a walk to the nearby stations but there’s an underground entrance right across the street so you don’t have to walk outside on rainy days so that’s nice. Because it’s a bit out of the way it’s rather quiet for being so close to all the crowds which is also quite nice. Otherwise pretty standard.

JALのツアーにてビジネス目的宿泊。
フロントの対応がアナログだが丁寧。懐かしさを感じさせる。
客室も同様。
シングルで広くは無いが、必要充分か。水周りに新しさを求める向きには不満があるかも？個人的には問題無し。
私が1番重視しているのは騒音関係。睡眠が仕事のパフォーマンスに直結するから、壁が薄いなどは困る。
こちらは場所柄、交通量が膨大な割にうるささは感じなかった。唯一緊急車両のサイレンで目覚めたという程度。
次回も充分選択肢に入ります。

maru iku (いくまるくん)

駅近のホテルで、バイキング形式の朝食付きプランもございます。小規模ホテルなので、大きなホテルにも比べると沢山品揃えがあるわけではありませんが美味しかったです。
朝食で1つ残念なのは、なくなれば品によっては補充されないという点です。
パンを追加で食べたかったのですが、補充されなかったのでそう感じました。
無くなることを考えると、早めに朝食を済ませても良かったように感じます。
ホテルの感想は、充電の無料貸出があると書いてありましたが、タイプCの用意がなかったのでとても残念でした。
1つ前の形の充電器しか取り扱いがないようでした。

The Korean family living next door was noisy until 3am for several days. I went to the front desk to complain one night and they told them to pay attention. They were still noisy in the next few days. Their quality was really poor. The soundproofing was not very good. I couldn't help but go to the front desk again on the last night. Because it was Sunday and there was a vacant room, the front desk opened a new room for me. The travel experience was very bad.

Personally for me train station is relatively near (also depends on the line). Rooms are of standard size in Japan and for a couple with two cargo sized luggages, you can imagine how small and squeezy it can be. The rooms are not soundproofed at all, can hear people talking along the corridors and the housekeeping is really loud. Room is rather clean in my opinion. Stayed 5 nights here with one housekeeping which I declined. Amenities are available to take from lobby as well as towels etc. I remember the toilet smelling like sewage when we first checked in but was gone in 1-2 days. Sometimes the room smells like smoke too, very mild. Laundry services was available too but it was the other side of the building.
