A small cafe, carefully hidden away only 1-minute from Tobu Nikko station. Perfect for waiting for your next train back.
However it was a smoker friendly cafe and Japanese people are heavy smoker so beware.
Oh and the cat named Chibi is a bonus.

A great little cafe. Very unique and charming atmosphere. I had milk tea and a toasted sandwich, a very comforting snack after a long hike around Nikko.
A cat owns the cafe, he surveys his kingdom sat on top of a fish tank and he has a nice old man working for him.

Amazing little Kisa coffee shop tucked in a street close to the station. The coffee was very good, so was the Mont Blanc. Heaps better than waiting for your train at the station!
The gentleman that owns the shop is very nice, and so is his cat, Chibi.

Amazing little cafe with brilliant food and drink. When we went there was a faint smell of cigarette smoke so I assume people can smoke inside but don’t let that put you off this little gem in Nikko!

So lucky to have discovered this hidden gem near the station! Delicious coffee and cakes, but most of all a very gracious and welcoming host with his cat whose pictures decorated the place, too! ❤️ A lovely couple! ❤️
